Description

Two of Australia's spellbinding songbirds share a cosy concert space for an intimate, heart-led evening.

Jessie Monk is an interdisciplinary artist based in Naarm, Australia. Jessie’s influences come from this world and the other, weaving together threads of song, story, movement and ritual. Jessie attempts to resurrect old stories and feed old gods, whilst exploring the intersection between the modern and ancient in a humble offering of avant-folk music.

Having spent many years living in Berlin, Jessie has steeped in its embracing and fecund folk community, headlining many tours across Europe, Australia and the UK, and supporting other artists like Rachel Sermanni, Ocie Elliot and Matthew and the Atlas. Her debut album, Continually Becoming (2023) was reviewed as ‘Boundless Folk' by Rolling Stone Magazine and her sophomore, Mis O’ The Mountains (2025) - a concept album based on the myth of an ancient celtic goddess named Mis, was nominated for AFMA’s Contemporary Folk Album of the Year, 2025. She has also performed in the Australian Premier of David Bowie’s, Lazarus and the Australian tour of Anais Mitchell’s, Hadestown.

"Stunning, with the power and prowess of Joni Mitchell" -Nkechi Alene, Triple J

“Boundless and fearless folk, about and against the grain” -RollingStone Magazine

"Heavens opened up and delivered a folk angel in Jessie Monk. A pure delight in every way." -Kath Devany - ABC Country

"Whoosh! This is gorgeous Jessie. You wear your influences on your sleeve, but boy howdy do you make it your own. Just beautiful" - Zan Rowe, Double J

Songstress Isabel Rumbles music offers a space where softness meets strength and becomes a soundscape for magic and dreams.

A rising star in the Australian indie-folk scene, Isabel crafts intimate, earth-rooted songs that speak directly to the heart. Hailing from a walnut farm in the southern valleys of NSW, Isabel has been steadily carving a name on Australian stages and is emerging into the international scene.

Isabel creates restorative spaces for deep listening. With understated magnetism and a "voice like honey" (Triple J), her songs hold warmth and vulnerability with ease. Woven through her work is an ongoing enquiry into connection with land and place, womanhood, and reverence for the inner life. Blending contemporary folk with lyrical intimacy, Isabel offers a return to stillness and presence.

Isabel has toured extensively across Australia, the UK and Europe, including appearances at festivals such as Port Fairy Folk Festival and Blue Mountains Music Festival. October 2025 saw the release of Isabel’s second full-length album, Hold Everything Lightly, followed by a nationwide Australian tour. Reviewing the album New York's Atwood Magazine wrote: "Hold Everything Lightly is that rare record that feels like a conversation with the soul. It asks nothing of you but stillness – to listen, to breathe, to let go."

“Breathtaking” – Atwood Magazine

“With a voice like honey and a capacity to hit notes with such care and clarity, as if Billie Eilish, Laura Marling and Katie Noonan morphed into a single voice. Simply gorgeous." – ABC Country

“Truly fantastic... this Aussie's vocals are just beautiful. A phenomenal singer-songwriter" - Orange Flag Music (NL)

“Incredibly delicate and touching. Beautiful!” - Claire Mooney (Triple J)
