Site Tour: Street Furniture
Join us for an inside look at Street Furniture Australia’s manufacturing facility in Regents Park.
Street Furniture Australia is an Australian manufacturer specialising in high-quality furniture for public spaces. Since 1986, its products have featured in more than 30,000 projects across Australia and around the world, with products made-to-order, finished and quality-controlled from its Western Sydney factory.
For operations professionals, what makes this visit particularly interesting is the opportunity to step inside an Australian manufacturer that actively applies Lean manufacturing methodologies to minimise waste, while operating ISO-certified systems across quality, environment, health and safety.
Site visits like this provide far more than inspiration. They give you the opportunity to see how another manufacturer approaches familiar operational challenges, ask questions of the people involved in the work and identify ideas that could be transferable to your own operation.
You may not manufacture the same products, but many of the challenges around process, people, quality, efficiency and continuous improvement will be very familiar.
Time and again, leaders leave these visits with a fresh perspective, practical insights and often one or two ideas they can take straight back and apply within their own operation.
Come curious. Leave with ideas.
