Skateboard workshops @ FEARLESS Youth Festival
Event description
The Station, Rural City Of Murray Bridge & Roll All Day are thrilled to offer free Skateboard lessons at FEARLESS Youth Festival!
The skateboard lessons will focus on park safety, etiquette and skill development, giving the participants confidence to use the park and feel welcome in the future.
Regardless of your skills, you can level up!
Sessions will run for 45-60min at a time, with 8 people max per session
All participants will need to wear a helmet, have safe and appropriate equipment in good working order and be ready to have fun.
A few extra skateboards and helmets are available for those that don’t have them (3 max per session).
11am Micro Groms 4–6-year Olds
12pm Beginner 7–10-year Olds
1pm Lunch
2pm Beginner 11–15-year Olds
3pm Intermediate 7-15-year Olds
For reference to work out if someone should be in the intermediate session the following questions can be asked.
For skate
Can you ollie? If yes, they are in intermediate.
Can you drop in or are you ready to learn how to? If yes, they are in intermediate.
Can you kick turn on ramps? If yes, they are in intermediate.
