Entry instructions
If you haven’t visited AMOCA before, there is a large (free) parking lot on the west side of the building that can be entered from Center Street. After parking, walk to the south side of the parking lot (to the right if you are facing the museum), proceed through the pedestrian gate, turn left and go past the loading dock to arrive at the entrance on the left . A staff member will greet you at the door (if you arrive early or late, ring the doorbell to the right of the door).

Hazards
If you haven’t taken a ceramics class before here are a few tips: Wear closed-toe shoes and fitted clothes (we will be working with moving pottery wheels which can catch baggy clothes). For the same reason, leave jewelry and accessories at home. For the same reason, if you have long hair, it’s best to have it tied back or up. We will be getting dirty! Wear clothes that can handle the mess. If you have one, it can be useful to bring a hand towel or apron to wipe your hands.
