Description

An initiative of the Tourism Industry Council Tasmania, Skilled in Sixty is a webinar series designed to deliver 60-minute, bite-sized information sessions on topics that matter to Tassie tourism operators.

Electric vehicle travel is growing rapidly, creating new opportunities and expectations for Tasmania’s tourism industry.

Join the Electric Vehicle Council for an update on the strong growth in EV sales across Australia, what is driving the change and what it means for visitor destinations. TICT will then introduce EV Ready Tasmania, its new program designed to help tourism businesses confidently welcome and support EV travellers.

In this session, we’ll cover:

  • the latest trends in EV sales and travel across Australia

  • what the growth in EV uptake means for Tasmania’s tourism industry

  • the changing needs and expectations of EV-driving visitors

  • the two EV Ready Tasmania program pathways

  • program eligibility and how your business can participate

  • practical ways to support EV visitors, whether or not you provide on-site charging

  • the recognition and promotional benefits available to approved EV Ready Tourism Businesses.

There will be time for Q&A at the end of the presentation.

**This session is free for all TICT accredited and member businesses, or at a cost of $25 per registration for all others.

Press the 'Register' button now to book your spot (please have your TICT Accreditation or Member number ready).
