SkillGym: Challenging your Design Assumptions
Event description
This event will be held online via Zoom
11:00am - 12:00pm AWST / 2:00pm - 3:00pm AEDT
Welcome to SkillGym by Skills of the Modern Age.
In our regular SkillGym series, we bring you 60-minute online skills workouts to keep building your innovation muscles as we create the future of work together.
When we're solving problems we make assumptions, whether we like it or not. We make assumptions about what's causing a problem, and we make assumptions about what needs to be done to fix it. The trouble is, these assumptions can lead us to design a sub-par solution - or worse, to spend a lot of time and money on a great solution to the wrong problem.
In this SkillGym workout we'll introduce you to processes and tools that can help you to identify your key assumptions in design processes. You'll ask yourself some critical questions, and broaden your thinking about both problems and solutions to improve your chances of delivering designs that work.
We can't wait to see you online soon!
