Event description

Supporters and members of Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action, and others in the community who want to deepen their involvement in climate action are invited to a special afternoon tea:

SATURDAY AFTERNOON Skills Workshop: Storytelling for climate action

  • Date: Saturday November 30
  • Time:  2:15 for 2:30, finishing 4:30
  • Venue: CWA Rooms, Port Macquarie

Storytelling is our superpower - and in this workshop we share our deep experience as trauma-aware storytellers. You will get a chance to try out the Story of Self - part of the Public Narrative approach taught by leader in the field of community organising, Marshall Ganz.

Learn from experienced trainers Serena Joyner, CEO of Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action, and Anita Tang, Organising Director at Australian Progress. Gain insights into storytelling from the Bushfire Survivors for Climate Action team.

Come and enjoy those scrumptious CWA scones while we workshop with you to help deepen your skills in one of the most powerful tools available for the work ahead!
