Sky Lounge w/ Yoshinori Hayashi, Moopie & OK EG

Big love to everyone who came to our first Sky Lounge party. We’re back at it again! In the same place in the sky, with some of our favourite music makers.

Yoshinori Hayashi 

Hayashi has built up a solid reputation in recent years with innovative and original releases for Going Good, Jheri Tracks, Gravity Grafiti and a forthcoming debut album on Smalltown Supersound. His weird take on dub, house, disco and boogie invigorates both his productions and DJ sets. He’s also very lovely man and we’re excited to bring him out from Japan and party with him on his first Australian tour.

Moopie

Inner Varnika, Meredith, Echo Flats… Moopie has played memorable sets in memorable places. He also heads the Colourful Storm label which has released everything from breakup pop compilations to anxious drum & bass. One of Australia's most celebrated DJ's, Moopie will be rounding off Sky Lounge in style.

OK EG

Melbourne’s Lauren Squire and Matthew Wilson make music as OK EG. Their release on Ebb Tide recordings appeared out of nowhere in a haze of the mellowest ambient techno. The duo has performed live sets for Dark MOFO in Hobart and the Steeplejack crew for Melbourne Music Week. Lauren and Matt will be playing a live set in the sunny afternoon.

Sky Lounge is an intimate, open-air dance party in a BYO venue.
