Skydance 2026

Skydance is a 5-day, community-led gathering held high in the New England ranges of NSW.

It exists outside the usual event model. People don’t just attend, they take part. Some build, some play music, some cook, some teach. Most do a bit of everything. What you bring into the space shapes what it becomes.

This experience asks for presence, respect for the land and awareness of the people around you.

The Environment

The mountain sets the conditions.

Nights can drop close to 2°C.
Winds can push past 100 km/h.
Days swing the other way: dry heat, full sun, and red dust settling into everything you brought with you.

But it’s amazing.

You feel the mountain.

The valley stretches out for hundreds of kilometres.
Kangaroos jump all around the campsite like it’s their backyard, because it is.

The people, the landscape, the music, it all comes together like it’s meant to.

It’s raw and at times demanding.
But it’s also one of the most beautiful places you’ll find yourself.

The Music

In 2026, music comes first.

The intention is to create an experience that allows for deep release on the dancefloor, while also opening ears to unfamiliar sounds. We believe community experiences like Skydance should challenge you and provide a space for curiosity and emotional depth.
We’ve made a collective decision to only book music freaks, artists who are deeply immersed in sound, regardless of recognition, and driven by a genuine love for their art.
