4WD / AWD / SMALL RWD 1T VANS / HIGH POWERED SEDANS WITH GOOD TYRES (low powered vehicles, bald tyres & unfit or overloaded cars will requre a tow pass). This pass is not only for suitable vehicles but drivers must be confident or returning Skydancers. If you are not then dont risk this and either pre-book a tow pass or leave your car at the bottom and take the shuttle up with all your things. Mountain access is not straightforward. The road is difficult, especially if you are not a confident driver. It’s a 15min drive up a windy, steep and slippery dirt road. From experience many vehicles and inexperienced off-road drivers require assistance. If a tow is NOT booked in advance and ends up being required, the price difference between the two ticket tiers ($70) + a service fee will be charged to the vehicle driver. We advise you to book the tow if you fit the TOW REQUIRED category to save everyone time and get smoothly up the mountain for a lower fee and in a timely manner. If you are unsure about your vehicle type or which type of pass to purchase, please contact us as we will be more than happy to assist you. Vehicle passes DO NOT need to be purchased at the same time as Camping Passes. If you are unsure of your vehicle type you my purchase your vehicle pass at a later date when your vehicle is confirmed (subject to availability). By purchasing this I accept full responsibility for selecting the correct vehicle pass. If I purchase a non-tow pass and require a tow up the mountain, I agree to pay the price difference and a tow service fee.
