SLIA Recruitment- Spring 2025

You're invited: SLIA's Spring 2025 Recruitment Event

Are you interested in sustainability and/or getting involved in your community? What about graphic design, public speaking, fundraising, policy, or internships? If so, SLIA may be a place for you! 

Sustainable Leaders in Action (SLIA) is the youth-led branch of Sustainable Contra Costa, a leading sustainability nonprofit serving Contra Costa County. At SLIA, we create the change we want to see in our communities by getting fellow students involved in innovative ways to raise awareness about sustainability. 

SLIA is like an environmental club but is not connected to any one high school, and is open to anyone in the county who wants to learn about and share sustainable solutions, and provide impactful leadership advancement opportunities for the next generation of environmental activists (us!).

• You can earn volunteer hours for every SLIA-related task/meeting you attend! (You even have the potential to earn a Presidential Volunteer Service Award). 
• Develop professional skills and gain nonprofit experience
• Make a positive impact on the community! 

The event will be led by SLIA’s interns and will include a Q&A portion to answer any questions you may have about SLIA.
