Slippages Launch at WestWords

Firstdraft has partnered with WestWords to announce and exhibit the 8 works selected from the Slippages competition. 

Writers and artists were asked to respond to the theme of Slippages in whatever way spoke to them. Writers and artists were encouraged to take risks, push the conventions of traditional mediums, and embrace a critical approach to the written word.

8 works are the result of this call out, and will be displayed as A2 posters. They will first be displayed at WestWords Centre for Writing in Parramatta on November 22nd, before moving to Firstdraft Gallery in Woolloomooloo as part of their new exhibition opening on 6 Dec.

Please join us at 6.30pm on November 22nd for the unveiling of these works, celebration of the writer-artists, drinks and nibbles.
