(LOCATION INFO: To make sure tardy ticket buyers still get the location, a mailout will be automated to be sent to all ticket holders at 11am, 5pm, 8pm, and then every half hour between 9 and 2 (so apologies for it popping up in your inbox multiple times).

Your favourite smokey slow dance caps off the year with a D.I.Y. B.Y.O N.Y.E. warehouse party at a secret location in the inner north! (address sent to ticket holders on the day, and no it's not the same warehouse as the 1975-2025 party...)

Joining slow grind favourites Richie1250 and Miss Goldie is NYC's sultriest sax player, FREDDY DEBOE. A veteran sideman for all our Daptone favourites including Sharon Jones, Charles Bradley, James Hunter and Lee Fields, Freddy's most recent 45 "Lora Blu / Lost at Sea" is pure slow grind magic, and we're stoked to have him on board spinning 45s from his deep collection and blowing boiling hot sultry saxophone over the top of them!

BYO BOOZE & MIXERS (Plenty of cups and a couple tubs of ice to put in drinks provided, if you want to keep drinks cold throughout the nice BYO Esky or cooler bag)

NOTES:

- Location is in the inner north, ticket holders will be sent address on the morning of the dance.

- There will be a smoke machine going all night and it will get very smokey. The smoke is non-toxic but if you ain't into smoke machines this might not be the party for you...

- The dancefloor at Slow Grind events is for dancing. If you need to use your phone or have a conversation, please do it over in the hallway or go outside and get some fresh air. (We don't mind you taking a quick photo or video to post up later on or saying hello to your friends, but standing in the middle of the dancefloor staring down at your phone or talking loudly is poor Slow Grind etiquette)

- The vibe of the night is very hazy and sultry, but the vibe is also about having good manners. Don't be all up in someone's personal space if they aren't inviting you.
