Tiny Talkers - Speech & Language Therapy for 2 to 4 year olds
Description
Event description
Early language development strategies course for parents with children aged 2 to 4 years old.
Help your child build strong communication skills from the start! Tiny Talkers is a fun, interactive 6-week program designed for parents and children to learn together. Guided by our expert Speech-Language Therapists, Tiegan Richards, you’ll discover practical strategies to support your child’s speech and language development during everyday routines.
What We Cover?
Tiny Talkers is a 6‑week parent–child group designed to help your toddler build early communication skills through simple, evidence-based strategies that you can use every day. Instead of relying on worksheets or drills, we coach you—because research consistently shows that children make the biggest gains when parents learn how to support language during play and daily routines.
You’ll learn one new strategy each week, practice it with your child, and get individual coaching from our speech-language therapist in a relaxed, play-based setting.
Parent-led strategies are one of the strongest evidence-based ways to support early language development.
Everyday routines (mealtimes, bath, play) become natural opportunities for language growth.
Coaching increases parents’ confidence and reduces pressure on children to “perform”.
Children benefit from more responsive, meaningful interactions—leading to gains in vocabulary, expressive language, and social communication.
Each 45‑minute session includes:
A fun welcome song to help little ones settle
A simple, practical strategy taught in parent-friendly language
Hands‑on practice with your child through play
Individual support and coaching from the SLT
Take‑home tips so you can carry the strategy into daily life
