Balingup Small Farm Experience 2021 - Farm Visit - Self Drive (approx 3 kms from The Village Green)

“Woodlands” is a 33 hectare property bought in the 1980’s and redeveloped from a dairy farm into a productive lifestyle property.

Ron has shown exceptional resilience and innovation- trying new ideas and ways of working over the years. After twenty years of production of wildflowers, apples, peaches and cherries, he has now turned to the production of marron from 7 hectares of specialised dams that he has progressively developed within a carefully landscaped open woodland.

During the visit, you will be able to see and experience:

how marron are grown and harvested.
how to create a small but productive kitchen orchard
how to develop a productive farm while protecting and supporting native flora and fauna.

Please note farm visits include walking on steps and uneven ground.

Children under 15 may attend farm tours at no cost if accompanied by their parent/s and supervised by them at all times. Parents retain responsibility for the behaviour and safety of their children on the tour.
