MEETING THE LAND
Gather as a small group with other prospective families and our volunteers to explore the land we will learn and play on.
WHO - This is the first of many opportunities to gather - we are intentionally starting small so we don't overwhelm the land, the parking or the neighbourhood. We look forward to a larger corroboree later this year. These staggered gatherings reflect the permaculture principle of 'small and slow solutions'.
WHAT
We will meet each other in our gathering circle (about halfway down the land).
Explore the paddocks, wild play and wetland spaces + be oriented to the landscape plans for learning spaces.
Find natural treasures and make a weaving craft to take home.
Bring along a picnic, ask questions and enjoy each other's company.
Please note, there is no toilet or accessible pathways - yet. Bring boots as it can be boggy underfoot! And picnic rugs or chairs.
