Small Steps 4 Hannah: Understanding Coercive control
Event description
Hannah and her three children were murdered by Hannah's ex-partner. Small Steps 4 Hannah was founded by Hannah's parents in the hope of engaging the community in understanding and preventing domestic violence.
This seminar aims to help everybody better understand the early signs of coercive control and how it may progress to more serious and tragic consequences if unchecked.
Michael Jeh, Domestic Violence Prevention Educator, presents a thought provoking and emotional account of Hannah's journey, He explores the indicators of coercive control, and the "red flags",
RoZSI's Voice is proud to partner with Small Steps 4 Hannah to raise community awareness about domestic violence prevention.
RoZSI's Voice is a partnership of 4 community organisations -Zonta Para District Area, Soroptimist International Torrens and the Rotary Clubs of Salisbury and Mawson Lakes. We believe the community can play a part in preventing domestic and family abuse
