Event description

Small Works is back!

Each year, Small Works: $100 & Under features hundreds of small-scale artworks, sized at 6 x 6 inches or less. Artworks are sold on a first come, first served basis and collectors are encouraged to shop directly "off the wall."

For this annual extravaganza, Fountain House Gallery and Studio artists continue to embrace the challenge of creating in the scaled-down format, unleashing their talents on fresh mediums and ideas. The exhibit offers a unique and affordable opportunity to experience - and collect - an individual artist's breadth of work.

About Fountain House Gallery and Studio
Fountain House Gallery and Studio supports the careers and creative visions of contemporary artists living with mental illness. All Fountain House Gallery artists are members of Fountain House.

Founded by Fountain House in 2000, the Manhattan-based Gallery sells original works and collaborates with a wide network or artists, curators and cultural institutions. Embracing artists who are emerging or established, trained or self-taught, Fountain House Gallery cultivates artistic growth, makes a vital contribution to the New York arts community, and challenges the stigma surrounding mental illness.

About Fountain House

Fountain House is a national mental health nonprofit fighting to improve health, increase opportunity, and end social and economic isolation for people most impacted by mental illness.

Drawing on more than 200 community-based social rehabilitative programs inspired by Fountain House and known as clubhouses - to reflect an insistence on belonging and acceptance - in nearly 40 states and with more than 60,000 members, we are leading a national movement for the dignity and rights of people with serious mental illness.

This program is funded, in part, by generous support from the Lily Auchincloss Foundation, Renate, Hans and Maria Hofmann Trust and the Laurie M. Tisch Illumination Fund.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible programming and events that enable all individuals, including individuals with disabilities, to engage fully. To request an accommodation or for inquiries about accessibility, please contact Becky Wilkening at becky.wilkening@fountainhouse.org.
