Smart women choose sustainable fashion

Join host Dr Rebecca Huntley (ABC RN The History Listen) for a 60 minute panel session featuring an inspiring line up of seriously smart and eco-stylish women talking all things fashion, sustainability and secondhand

Joining the line up are five-time Aria award winning entertainer and Aussie music icon Ella Hooper, fashion designer Kit Willow (KitX), 1Million Women founder Natalie Isaacs and sustainable fashion educator & eco stylist Nina Gbor (Eco Styles).

About Nina

The founder of Eco Styles, Nina Gbor is an award-winning sustainability advocate, ethical fashion speaker, climate activist, writer and educator. She coined the phrase ‘get off the fashion trendmill’ which means individuality and self-knowledge should be the premise for consuming clothing, not fashion trends. Nina has a Master’s degree in International Development and is a former sustainable fashion tutor at RMIT University in Melbourne. Follow Nina @eco.styles

About Ella
Award winning entertainer and Aussie music icon Ella Hooper spent 20 years in the spotlight as the lead singer of Killing Heidi and is now building on her credits as a radio host, TV presenter and pop culture vulture with regular spots on TripleM's 90s, Ten's The Project and ABC's Spicks and Specks. Ella is a lifelong thrifter, with a passion for secondhand fashion.  Follow Ella @ella_hooper

About Rebecca

Dr Rebecca Huntley is one of Australia's foremost researchers on social trends. She is the author of numerous books including How to Talk About Climate Change in a Way that Makes a Difference (Murdoch books, 2020).
