The Rage Cage, Supported by The Yarns Men, are hosting Smashing Yarns on Thursday 17th October 2024 from 5-8pm.

Smash some s%^&. Yarns. BBQ. Recycling.

Rage Cage Smash Rooms is the latest in entertainment with sides of recycling and mental health awareness. At Rage Cage we combine the fun of smashing up TVs and old whiteware with mental health awareness! Experience the catharsis of smashing items in a safe environment while helping the planet through the recycling of the smashed up items. We aim to highlight the importance of expressing feelings and managing stress in a way that is both sustainable and enjoyable. Through our partnerships with The Yarns Men, Rage Cage is all about letting loose - both physically and mentally.

Tickets are $35 to cover the cost of the Rage Room, Throwing Alley, BBQ & soft drinks. 

What to expect at Smashing Yarns: 

• We'll put you into groups of 3 - 4 to have a turn in a Rage Room and time in the throwing alley.  
• The Yarns Men conversation card questions will be encouraged while you break down some white ware to be recycled or whilst you're having a sausage. The questions are:
  1. What have you struggled with in the last week?
  2. What do you want to work on in the next week?
  3. What are you proud of?
     
  4. What gives you hope?
• BBQ feed - Sausage, bread, onions and sauce
• Soft drinks
• Did we mention smashing stuff?
