Smith Collective Suitcase Rummage - Oct 24

The Smith Collective Suitcase Rummage is a special community market where you can buy/sell pre-loved items from your neighbours.

Reserve a stall and start filling your suitcase with secondhand goods like clothing, accessories, books, shoes, jewellery, kitchenware and bric-a-brac. NO new items, food or mass-produced items can be sold. (Maximum of 3 suitcases per registered stall are allowed). If you have any larger items for sale, we suggest taking photos of these so buyers can view them on your phone. 

On the event day, please come down to Homebase with your suitcases from 8am for a 9am start where our team will guide you to your designated stall.

Tips & tricks to making the most of the event:

As the event is outdoors, it's wise to be prepared for any changes in weather. We recommend bringing along a hat, water bottle, sunscreen, umbrella and a sweater. Make sure you have change (cash) on hand, consider labeling your items or using signs, bring a pen and notepad and remember to pack a rug or blanket for displaying your goods. Also, think about bringing a chair or cushion for seating. 

The size of one stall space is roughly 1.5m x 1.5m.

Whilst it is free to reserve a stall, we would strongly encourage you to make a $5.00 donation to The Mooring, our chosen charity. The Mooring is a not-for-profit service supporting families of patients in the Intensive Care Units at the Gold Coast University Hospital.
