Smoker & the Midnight Jammers - Celebrating 10 Years of Jazz at West Winds
Description
Get ready for an afternoon of funky grooves, pumping blues and good old-fashioned rockin’ blues energy!
West Winds Blues is excited to welcome John Smoker and The Midnight Jammers for a night packed with Chicago blues classics, rare blues gems and original tunes.
The Midnight Jammers have found a fresh groove, blending infectious funky riffs with driving blues lines that will have you wanting to jump, jive and move to the music.
With Al Fulurija laying down a solid, funky backbeat on drums, Alex Pegrum locking into the pulsing bass grooves, and Dave Kaye bringing the searing solos on his old Strat, there’s plenty of musical firepower on stage.
And then there’s “Jumpin’ Johnny” (the Dr) Smoker, growling his way around the stage, adding riffs on his old Fender and wailing into the harp. 🎸🎶
Expect energetic charm, funky grooves and seriously stylish blues as The Midnight Jammers roll you down the tracks through their back catalogue of Chicago blues greats, alongside their own original material.
🎶 Come along for a great night of live blues
Bring your friends, settle in and enjoy the music, atmosphere and community spirit of West Winds Blues.
Whether you're a lifelong blues fan or just love a night of great live music, come along and jump, jive and enjoy the ride!
John Smoker & The Midnight Jammers are ready to roll.
