Facilitator
Richard Webb
Richard believes that the lack of legislated human rights to basic needs is the defining entrepreneurial challenge of our time.
He founded his first venture fund (Red Ocean) in 2005, and his venture catalyst (Catallyze) in 2014 to back visionary founders who bridge these institutional gaps with creative, scalable solutions, transforming systemic imbalances into opportunities for both human dignity and sustainable economic value.
Today Catallyze has grown its team to over 215 advisors in 61 cities and now serves over 120 active portfolio companies. He has six children and is currently Sydney based - he lived in New Zealand for over three years back in the early 2010s and is part of a team developing a unique way to create new value from international visitors that will be launched in Queenstown Lakes.
