Snow Venture 2025 EXPRESIONS OF INTEREST

Snow Venture - 50 Years of Alpine Fun!

Snow Venture is a memorable 10-day snow experience in the Victorian Alps for Venturer Scouts (aged between 15 and 18). We stay at the Bogong Rover Chalet where we have almost unlimited ski touring access to the back country whilst being secluded away from Falls Creek Village (3 hours away by ski). The Chalet is unlike any other accommodation found on Australia's Snowfields. It has a unique atmosphere where everyone works together as a team to make Snow Venture a great success. You will also be able to work on your Alpine OAS progressions.

There are only 25 places available for Venturers to join this unique adventure, so if you are interested in joining us please register your interest to be in the running.

Criteria

Age:  Venturers must be over 15 years and younger than 18 years of age on the first day of Snow Venture (11 July 2025).
Experience:  OAS Bushwalking Stage 4 and OAS Bushcraft and Camping Stage 3. No ski experience required!
Suitability:  Have experience hiking and carrying a backpack loaded for an overnight trip - Snow Venture is a physically challenging activity.

Please note that this ticket is only an Expression of Interest and does not guarantee that you will be attending Snow Venture 2025.

Expressions of Interest close at the end of February.  The team will then finalise the winter party. If you're successful, you will be sent details of how to complete your booking at the email address you provide (so please provide an email address that you regularly check).  

Final tickets will be announced and issued in the second or third week of March.  The cost to attend Snow Venture 2025 is $870 for youth members and is to be paid in full when you complete your booking within 7 days of the issuing of the booking link.
