Escape the chaos of the season and spend your Christmas break surrounded by community, nature, and chosen family in the stunning Seven Valleys.
This relaxed, family-friendly gathering is an invitation for queer folks and allies to come together on beautiful Wiradjuri Country—slow down, breathe deep, and enjoy spectacular views far from the usual holiday madness. Whether you’re camping under the stars or just dropping into the vibe, it’s all about connection, rest, and doing the season your way.
There’ll be a super chilled, opt-in program across the week—think community dinners, yarning circles, and laid-back uke singalongs—but no pressure to do anything except be yourself.
Bush camping is available with rustic shared facilities (bathroom and camp kitchen).
$25 per person, per night

Pets are welcome too (they’re family, after all—just keep them under control).
This is a space built on respect, care, and community—so come ready to look out for each other. Please also be mindful you’re on Country, home to incredible wildlife (including snakes), and that this is a total fire ban area—strictly no fires.

Guided Walk December 21st with Local Indigenous community member
Join Wiradjuri artist and proud Country man Brett Groves for a guided walk that invites you to slow down, listen, and connect more deeply with the land beneath your feet. Sharing culture, language, and lived knowledge, Brett offers a meaningful glimpse into Country through story, observation, and respect. Along the way, you may even hear him call to the Billir—the black cockatoo—bringing a powerful moment of connection between people, place, and the living world around us.

Art on Country December 23rd
Join us for a relaxed, on-Country art workshop where creativity and connection come together in a truly special setting. Guided in a spirit of respect and curiosity, this session invites you to slow down, tune into the landscape, and express what you see and feel through art. Using natural inspiration from the surrounds, you’ll explore simple, accessible ways to create—no experience needed, just a willingness to have a go. It’s less about the finished piece and more about the process: being present, sharing space, and connecting with Country and each other in a meaningful, creative way.

Community Dinner December 24th
Join us on Christmas Eve for a shared community dinner filled with warmth, connection, and celebration under the summer sky. This is a relaxed, bring-your-whole-self gathering where the cost covers a delicious shared meal, and everyone is invited to contribute to the atmosphere in their own way. Bring a ukulele, a favourite song, a poem, or a performance to share—or simply come along to listen, laugh, and enjoy. Together we’ll create an evening of music, stories, and connection with chosen family and community, making space to slow down and celebrate the season in a way that feels inclusive, joyful, and real. Whether you’re on stage or just soaking it in, this is a night to gather, relax, and be together.
