So What Are You Into?

“So What Are You Into?” is an evening dedicated to celebrating the weird, wild and wonderful world of kink.

Hosted by a sex therapist and somatic therapist, Love Club is bringing together experts, performers and community voices for an educational, fun and unforgettable night of thought-provoking talks, live performances and a community panel. We're diving deep into kink as a form of self-expression, identity, intimacy and art.

Hear from all-star kink educators, sexologists and seasoned kinksters as they unpack topics dear to their hearts and share their kinky journeys. You’ll also witness live performances that celebrate the endless possibilities and play of kink before we wrap the night up with a panel Q&A.

Performers, speakers and their talks will be announced over the course of October and November. Topics of the night will so far include:

• "My K!NK - Your Mind" - Hadrian is a BDSM worker, educator, performer, life long learner and the creator behind Leather by Hadrian, an artisan BDSM brand specializing in impact tools and apparatus. Hadrian will talk about the mind as the true doorway to connection and earning submission. He will share his discovery of mind play, his experiences and a few techniques we can all use in play.

• "From 'Bad Feminist' to 'Good Girl'" - Somatic Sexologist, Couples Counsellor and Kink & BDSM Educator Alice Child explores one her favourite dichotomies of human nature; why who we are day-to-day is so often at odds with what we crave in the bedroom. This talk dives into the world of kink, power play, shadow desires, and the psychology of the erotic mind. Alice explains the healing power of eroticism, and how it can be harnessed to fully and joyfully explore, heal and express all parts of our being. In other words, how to be a great feminist AND get all of your sexual desires met - no matter how naughty or taboo they might feel.
  
  

There will be prizes to be won from our generous sponsors, and a bar available on the night. There will be a mix of standing and seating options available.

Whether you’re new to the scene, a seasoned kinkster or simply curious to learn, you’re welcome here.

All genders, bodies, sexualities, abilities, and experience levels are welcome at Love Club. Our only expectation is mutual respect, community care, and not yucking anyone’s yum. Love Club has zero tolerance to disrespectful, threatening or non-consensual behaviour. Folks who do such behaviour will be asked to leave the event and the premises without a refund.

While this is not a play party, elements of kink may be demonstrated in a performance or educational context. Dedicated peer support volunteers will be present to hold space and offer support throughout the night if needed. 

Accessibility: The Red Rattler is a ground-level, warehouse-style space that offers wheelchair access and non-gendered accessible toilets. There will be a mix of standing and seating options available.
