Description
Welcome to a weekend workshop making luxurious and nourishing homemade soaps with Robyn Wells.
Enjoy the hands-on experience of creating soaps infused with plants from our neighbourhood.
Saturday 24 October 9 am – 12.30 pm
On the first day, you will learn the chemistry that underlies soap-making, formulate your own recipes using infused oils, cook up several different batches of soaps and set them up to cure overnight.
Sunday 25 October 12 pm – 2.00 pm
Return to see how your soap has set, remove from moulds, cut the bars and look at options for packaging soap bars for gift-giving.
Participants will take home 4 bars of soaps, and the skills to make soaps at home.
