Description

Sober and Fabulous is a free, fortnightly peer support group for people who are sober, sober-curious or interested in changing their relationship with alcohol and other substances. It is run by and for trans and gender diverse people.

What to expect

  • Sober and Fabulous aims to provide participants with a safe and supportive environment to explore your relationship with substance use, connect with others who have had similar experiences, and access support.
  • This program does not advocate for abstinence or for a particular model of recovery, but rather to empower participants to find what works best for you.
  • Attendance is completely confidential and anonymous. Sessions are interactive and will include a combination of facilitated discussion and sharing, and activities such as guided meditation or guest speakers.

Sober and Fabulous sessions are facilitated by a trans peer with lived experience of alcohol and substance use.
