Event description

Description

This 90-minute webinar will offer practical information to help build your confidence in the area of understanding how closely related communication and behavioural challenges can be. We will be looking at the why behind why some of our students have behavioural challenges. These could be outward behavoiurs like hitting, yelling, or biting or they could be more inward like shutting down, avoiding things, or making mistakes on person.  We will be discussing masking which is when students try to hide or mask their difficulties, needs, or emotional states.  We will talking about why behavior can be a sign of students seeking clarity and social connection rather than framing things as seeking attention.

There will be time for question and answers throughout the session.
