Social and Emotional Wellbeing: Domains, Determinants and Looking to the Future
Event description
As part of a series of webinars commemorating the tenth anniversary of the seminal textbook, Working Together: Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Mental Health and Wellbeing Principles and Practice (second edition), we are delighted to present a conversation between two of the book's co-authors and an accomplished young mental health advocate, PhD student, and founder.
We invite you to join Associate Professor Graham Gee (Senior Research Fellow at Murdoch Children's Research Institute), Dr. Clinton Schultz (Head of First Nations Research at the Black Dog Institute), and Maddison O'Gradey Lee (PhD student at the Black Dog Institute/UNSW and 2025 NSW Young Australian of the Year recipient). These three experts will be discussing social and emotional wellbeing approaches to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander mental health in Australia, and will delve into the domains and determinants of SEWB, as well as changes in the field since 2014.
We acknowledge with gratitude the other authors of Working Together, Chapter 4: Professor Pat Dudgeon AM, Amanda Hart and Kerrie Kelly.
This live event will be hosted by Community Cultural Expert, Michael Mitchell, and will include opportunities for questions from the audience.
We look forward to having you attend the event with your questions!
