Social Ceramics

The first Saturday of the Month from 11-2pm

$80 pp

Social Ceramics is a tutored session led by artist Steph Shields and held in the beautiful bush land of Glengarry North. 

This workshop is about connecting to your creativity and community in a fun vibrant environment. Learning basic hand building skills and dabble on the wheel. No experience is necessary, and all levels of experience are welcome. Your beautiful works will be processed and fired accordingly. Social Ceramics is an inclusive environment that supports a range of abilities. It is an inclusive space. You can be yourself at the studio.

A range of clays and tools are available to explore. You can bring ideas along or use objects at the studio to inspire you. The objects you make will be bisque fired and available for collection 4-6 weeks after the class. 

Please note:

It is up to you to make arrangements to collect work. Please contact the studio. 

A light snack, as well as tea and coffee will be provided. Please advise of allergies.

Additional glaze firing is an extra $20. 

NDIS invoicing is available. Please ensure that this class can be covered by your package.

 Photographing and initialling work is essential for identification at collection due to the high volume of work coming through the studio.

Works can crack or break during any stage of the drying and firing process. Please note that in the event this happens tickets will not be refunded. The studio offers no remuneration of any sort for damaged works. 

This class requires a minimum of 4 participants to run. In the unlikely event the class does not meet the minimum bookings, your ticket will be credited.

Support animals are welcome but please advise beforehand.

Please provide 48 hours notice for cancelation or tickets will not be refunded.
