The Australian Baha’i Community warmly invites representatives of NGOs, religious and cultural communities, the media, academia, gender equality organisations, youth networks, think tanks, institutions and government to attend the 2020 Social Cohesion and Inclusion Conference held online, with 90 minute sessions each day. Registration will allow access to all sessions.

Keynote Speakers Include: 

  • Her Excellency the Hon. Margaret Beazley AC QC - Governor of New South Wales
  • Dr Anne Aly MP - Member of the House of Representative
  • Rev. Tim Costello - Chair of the Community Council of Australia
  • Dr Brian Adams - Director of the Centre for Interfaith and Cultural Dialogue, Griffith University

The conference will explore the settings, approaches, methods and experiences that will guide our country to foster greater social cohesion and inclusion into the future. It is an opportunity for all to reflect on advances, lessons learnt and obstacles to social cohesion in Australia.

We will officially launch the ‘Creating an Inclusive Narrative’ publication, which is the culmination of nationwide roundtable consultations held over the past year. You can purchase a hard copy of this publication at the checkout.
