Tue, 8 Sep, 6:30pm - Tue, 3 Nov, 9pm AEST

Sydney’s most beginner-friendly Dungeons & Dragons campaign.

Come solo, leave with a party of new friends.

Five fortnightly sessions with the same group building a continuous story. No experience needed, most players come alone, and everything is provided.

What to expect

  • Meet new people — The whole campaign is structured to help you connect naturally while doing something fun.

  • Beginner-friendly — Never played? Perfect. We explain everything and run the game so you can just enjoy it. If you're a D&D veteran, there'll still be plenty of surprises.

  • Come alone or with a friend — Most players come solo. Everyone is in the same boat.

  • Small group vibes — You’ll join 4-6 players at a cozy Sydney pub for a guided adventure run by a professional Dungeon Master.

  • One continuous story — Across five sessions, your character grows and the story deepens.

  • We provide everything — Character sheets, dice, pencils, minis. You just bring curiosity.

  • Relaxed pub atmosphere — Order food and drinks while you play. We take a short break halfway through each session to chat, unwind, and stretch.

Spaces are limited, book soon to secure your seat.

FAQs

  • What is Dungeons & Dragons?

D&D is a collaborative storytelling game where you and a group of players go on adventures together, guided by a storyteller (the Dungeon Master). Think of it as part board game, part improv, and part epic fantasy movie where a single dice roll can send everything off the rails.

  • Do I need to know how to play?

Not at all! We guide you through everything step by step. For beginners, we use a unique character creation approach that makes things quick and fun. The focus is on imagination and shared storytelling, not memorising rules.

  • How long is a typical session?

Each session runs for about 2.5 hours, with a little break in the middle to grab a drink, stretch, and chat. It’s the perfect length to settle into the adventure without getting tired.

  • How many players will there be?

Usually 5-7 players. That’s enough to feel like a proper adventuring party, while still keeping it cosy so everyone gets to join in the fun.

  • Can I book alone?

Of course! Lots of players come by themselves and D&D is a great way to meet new people.

  • Can I bring a friend?

Absolutely, the more the merrier! There’s no limit on how many friends you can bring, and we even offer discounts if you book extra spots together.

  • Do I need to bring anything?

Nope, we provide everything you’ll need, including dice, character sheets, and all the adventure setup. Just show up ready to rumble. If you do have your own dice or character sheet, that's great too.

  • Do you do private sessions?

Yep, we sure do! Whether it’s a birthday, team event, or just a special night with friends, get in touch via our contact form and we’ll set it up.

  • Can under 18s join in?

Our Social Dungeons & Dragons sessions are for adults only. If you know a young adventurer keen to get involved, get in touch about our Special Occasions offering or the Writing & Roleplay program.
