Event description

Catalyst 2030 is the global movement mobilising to accelerate the achievement of the UN SDGs by 2030.

The Social Enterprise Scholar Practitioner Network was formed to create a closer bond, intersectional identity and knowledge exchange between social enterprise practitioners and academia.

At the Tuesday session in March, join us as we hear from Dr Amber Earles.
Dr Amber Earles is a specialist in social enterprise governance and a long term resident of the Mornington Peninsula in Victoria, Australia. Since February 2022, Amber has overseen the establishment of the Frankston Social Enterprise Hub.

The Frankston Social Enterprise Hub is a cross-sector partnership creating a unique place for people and organisations committed to creating social value through enterprise. The Hub is a meeting place, coworking environment, hub for hands-on support and event space for like-minded entrepreneurs and enablers.

The Hub is a Local Lead of Social Enterprise Network Victoria's (SENVIC) state-wide network, providing an anchor for the South Metropolitan Region.

Dr Earles will speak to her methodology for establishing the Hub, review the first year's achievements and explore what is to come.

Each month the SE Scholar-Practitioner Networks holds a Tuesday morning and Thursday afternoon session (AEST), to reach different audiences around the globe.
Check out the Thursday afternoon session too.
