Event description

MyCareSpace is a social enterprise or 'for purpose' company whose mission is to create 'meaningful connections for people living with a disability so they can build extra ordinary lives'. It is a national online platform that helps people with a disability and their families, all around Australia, find the disability services and supports they need and information about the NDIS.

Nicole lives in Sydney with her young family. She is a committed runner and balances this with yoga and even a bit of surfing. Nicole knows how challenging it can be to live with a disability as her mother went blind from macular degeneration fifteen years ago. Nicole is passionate about empowering people to reach their full potential, and MyCareSpace aims to do this by making information more accessible so people living with a disability and their families can find the supports they need to live full and meaningful lives.  Prior to starting MyCareSpace Nicole had a successful career in finance including 15 years with Swiss Reinsurance Company where she established their Public Sector Team for Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific.

Bianca had a successful career in finance and business before joining the MyCareSpace team. Together with a partner, Bianca founded a successful software training company called DWT which she then sold to Seek Online and it stands today.  After this she spent the next 12 years building her own web development business servicing corporates both large and small.

In 2017, Nicole Gamerov engaged her to build the MyCareSpace platform and after its successful launch, Bianca was compelled to leave her own business and join MyCareSpace and Nicole permanently.

Bianca uses her wealth of digital, web development and training skills to create processes and systems that allow MyCareSpace to connect people with disabilities and service providers on scale and with ease.
