Social Impact Measurement Series 2023 - Business and Impact Models #QSOCENT
Event description
Update 6th Feb 2023: This event is sold out. Please follow us on Humanitix to know when our next event is, and if you were wanting to join this event topic, please send your name to lara@socialgoodoutpost.com to be on an invite-list for when we run this session again. For enough interest, we'll run the same event late Feb.
Starting 2023 with "the beginning" of this social impact measurement series, we will be looking at different types of social impact business models. We will be sharing some examples, and looking at social business model canvases (with a shared resource for you to fill out).
Topics we will cover:
- Setting up a business model that's financially sustainable
- Where in your business model you deliver your social impact
- How do other social enterprises deliver their social impact?
- Looking at different structures of business - Non-profit, sole trader, company... and what they might mean for your social business model
- Along with any questions you have on the day.
When you register, we will send you a link to an interactive social business model canvas, that you can prepare before our workshop, so you can gain clarity on where you're at, and start to form any questions. As a group, if you wish to share, we can help you work through some of your questions, or do a sharing of your model for discussion.
Who should come:
Anyone who has or is developing a social enterprise or social impact business / organisation, who wants to get clearer on what kind of model will deliver social change + financial sustainability. Founders, entrepreneurs or social impact students.
Who's leading the workshop:
