Social Media Bootcamp with Kate Howarth Digital is a practical, hands-on workshop designed to help small business owners make sense of social media and use it more effectively. Whether you're an absolute beginner or you've been posting for years and need fresh ideas, this workshop will give you simple, achievable strategies that work in the real world.
Over three engaging hours, we'll explore the latest trends, learn how to create content that people actually want to see, improve your photos and videos, understand scheduling tools, and discover ways to increase organic engagement. We'll also cover the basics of Meta advertising, connecting your social media with your website and Google Business Profile, and making sure all of your digital assets are working together.
Most importantly, this is not a lecture. You'll have the opportunity to workshop your own social media challenges, ask questions, share ideas and learn from other local businesses. You'll leave with practical skills, fresh inspiration, content ideas and the confidence to tackle your social media with less stress and better results.
This workshop is suitable for small businesses and sole traders in any industry, as well as community groups and events. Even if you have no social media experience or you are tackling higher level issues - this workshop is for you.

About the Presenter
Kate Howarth
Kate Howarth is a digital marketing consultant, trainer and communications specialist with over 20 years' experience helping regional businesses, events, artists and community organisations build their profile and grow their audience. Through Kate Howarth Digital, she provides practical support across websites, social media, content creation, design, photography and digital strategy. She specialises in: *social media management and content creation *website design, development and hosting *marketing strategies - both digital and traditioanl *graphic and print design *public relations and publicity *copywriting and photography *training and mentoring Her clients come from a breadth of industry including tourism, hospitality, trades, arts and events, government and national insitutions. Kate is the person clients call when they don't know where to start, when something in their digital world has gone wrong, or when they need practical advice and support to join the dots between all their marketing activities. Kate is a trusted ally and communications partner. She works respectfully alongside regional businesses, creative practitioners and Aboriginal organisations to help tell their stories, build audiences and strengthen their digital presence. Kate's business is based in Tumut NSW and she works remotely on projects throughout Australian and New Zealand.
