Tech Savvy Seniors: Social Media
Event description
Our fourth and final workshop in the Tech Savvy Seniors program is perfect for those who would like to learn about social media sites to stay in touch with friends and loved ones. You will have heard about Facebook, Skype and Twitter, but might not be sure about what they do or how to get set up to use them. This session demonstrates how they work, so you can decide if you want to create your own accounts.
TICKETS WILL OPEN FOR BOOKING ON 16 MARCH.
ABOUT TECH SAVVY SENIORS
Tech Savvy Seniors is a partnership between the NSW Government and Telstra, providing free technology training to seniors through libraries. The program aims to help seniors with little or no digital experience to develop skills and confidence in using technology for socialising, accessing services, and conducting personal business. These hands-on training workshops include courses on using computers, smartphones, tablets, the internet, email, and social media.
