What if meeting new people didn’t have to be awkward?
Welcome to the My Friend Ron Social Olympics — a ridiculous afternoon of random games, unexpected challenges and making friends with people you’ve probably never met before.
You’ll be randomly placed into a team and thrown into a series of challenges designed to get you moving, laughing, competing and — most importantly — talking to people.

You don’t need to come with a group. In fact, coming alone is encouraged. Everyone will be mixed into random teams, so you’ll have a built-in group of people to meet from the moment you arrive.
The whole point? Put your phone down, meet some strangers and leave with a few new friends.
Come solo. Come with a mate. Come ready to compete.

FAQs
- What do I wear?
Wear comfortable clothes! There will be a lot of running around and potentially getting a little dirty so dress accordingly :)
- I'm nervous to come by myself, should I be?
Firstly you are amazing, secondly absolutely not! Most people actually come by themselves and you'll get the most out of the event!
- What if it's raining?
We get wet! Unless there's thunder storms, lightening or other severe weather, we don't let a little rain stop us from having fun! If there is rain forecast it is a good idea to bring a rain jacket.
- Is there anything else I need to bring?
A water bottle is important, sunscreen and some comfy running shoes (maybe a towel as well if there's wet weather).
