Social Sips September Event - OASIS
Description
Social Sips is a popular Brisbane social club where people gather each month to explore the city's best spots and meet new people along the way. Whether you're new to town or just keen to try somewhere different!
This month, we're doing something we've never done before, Social Sips is setting sail! We're taking over an entire floor on OASIS Brisbane for an evening cruise along the river, complete with resident DJs across multiple levels keeping the energy going all night. This is our biggest event yet, and we cannot wait to celebrate it with you on the water.

📍 Botanic Gardens River Hub
⏰ Arrive by 7:00pm, and the boat departs at 7:30pm on the dot. Please make sure you're there on time, as OASIS cannot hold the boat for late arrivals and you will not be able to board once it has departed.
🛳️ The cruise returns to dock between 11:30pm–12:00am.
🎟️ Your ticket includes a drink on arrival (beer, wine, bubbles or spirits) and some light snacks to kick things off. Guests can also purchase additional food onboard throughout the cruise.
Spots are limited for our biggest event of the year, so grab your ticket early and get ready for an unforgettable night on the water!

- What age range is the event targeted for?
There’s no official age limit, but most attendees tend to be in their 20s - it’s a great fit for that crowd.
- Can I come by myself?
Yes, you can come by yourself! Around 50% of attendees come solo. Social Sips is perfect for coming solo. It’s a great way to meet new people, make friends, and enjoy discovering Brisbane bars.
- Is this event for girls or can guys come too?
Everyone’s welcome at Social Sips! While we often have more women come along, we get a great mix - plenty of guys have joined in too.
- My first time! Is this like a get together to mingle around or games?
We know most clubs mean reading a book, going for a run, or doing awkward icebreakers and that’s not for everyone. Social Sips is easy. Just show up, discover a new Brisbane bar, and chat with friends or people you haven’t met yet!
- What's included in my ticket price?
Your ticket includes your first drink and some nibbles to share. Because we visit a different venue each month, the exact inclusions may vary, every spot offers something a little different!a
