SOCIAL ENTERPRISE DELIVERS: new compelling sector data that supports our people-centred approach to employment.
Event description
For decades jobs-focused social enterprises have been creating meaningful employment for people who face the greatest barriers to work. Despite this, the sector has struggled to gain recognition and direct financial support for the outcomes they create, limiting the sector’s ability to reach its full potential. We now have the data to help change this.
The Payment By Outcomes Trial, currently underway with White Box Enterprises, the Department of Social Services and 15 jobs-focused social enterprises, presented a unique opportunity to compare the outcomes of these social enterprises, with existing public data on Disability Employment Services (DES).
The findings reveal social enterprise outperforms on all fronts.
This new independent report presents a strong case to the Federal Government to consider the role jobs-focused enterprise can play in our national employment services model.
Join White Box Enterprises, Social Enterprise Australia and social enterprise leaders on Wednesday 2 August in an online session to discuss the findings, how the Payment By Outcomes model works, and what this could mean for the sector on a national scale.
When: Wednesday 2 August, 10:30am – 11:30am AEST
Where: Online Zoom session
RSVP: Please register your attendance by Friday, 28 July to receive the Zoom link
