The show starts at promptly at 6:00pm with Bear playing love songs in the courtyard during golden hour. So please come on time !

More about the night:

Soft Landings is a Darwin based evolving series, shaped by the pace of the work and the community around it. It’s a stage for emerging ideas - a place where creativity can be shared, tested and given room to grow.

It’s for trying something new, revisiting old ideas, experimenting, taking creative risks, and finally doing that thing you’ve always wanted to do. Whether your work is polished, unfinished or somewhere in between, there’s room for it here.

All art forms welcome: music, theatre, dance, burlesque, circus, spoken word poetry, comedy, film, projection, performance art and multidisciplinary collaborations. Whether it’s a single song or poem, a five minute clowning character exploration with life or death stakes, a 25 minute musical set, or David Bowie cat impersonation - we want to see it!

Accessibility: Happy Yess (located in the Brown’s Mart Studio) features step-free, ground-level wheelchair access through the main entrance. Companion Cards accepted.

Pay what you can afford - the recommended fair ticket price is $20 - $30

We want this project to be sustainable. Once event costs are covered, all ticket sales are split between artists and crew - supporting the development of new creative works, collaborations and live events in our thriving troppo community.

NOTAFLOF: No one will be turned away due to lack of funds - if you are totally skint and can't swing the $10 ticket, please don't stress - we want you there. Send us a message and we will sort something out.
