Mould Cheese Festival and Hogget Kitchen join forces for Melbourne Food and Wine Festival to present 'Soft, Semi, Hard, Stinky' a degustation of the best Gippsland Cheese!
Hosted at acclaimed one hat restaurant Hogget Kitchen, known for its nose to tail approach and love of highlighting local Gippsland producers. Hogget is teaming up with the folk who bring you 'Mould A Cheese Festival' to present you a Gippsland cheese feast for those curd-nerds amongst us!
What's on the menu? The best of Gippsland cheese of course, delivered in true long lunch style. Trev and the team will produce snacks followed by a four course degustation menu, each course championing a Gippsland cheese maker. A glass of bubbles on arrival, with drinks on consumption (perhaps you'd like an all Gippsland wine pairing to go alongside your degustation - just add it to your ticket on check out) followed by a Q&A session with the local cheese makers themselves. Expect the likes of; Berry’s Creek, Butterfly Factory, Maffra, Prom Country Cheese & Tarago River.
This is a great event for those who love cheese, love food and love wine, the opportunity to speak with cheese makers themselves, and the chance to buy directly from them after your dessert course, while enjoying the views and food at one of Gippsland's best restaurants.
Note: This event will start as stand up canapes, followed by sit down long lunch style on communal tables.
DIETARIES: We can accomodate Vegetarian if you let us know, however we are sorry to our vegan friends but this is as cheesy as it gets.
