Solar Screenprinting

Join local Screenprinting legend, Ken Wood, and make your own design that is printed on T shirts, teatowels or other item.

Ken is an experienced printer and faciltiator. These 3 workshops are a great introduction to elements of design and the technical aspects of screenprinting. You can make a series of printed T shirt, tea towels or other items for Christmas, for your local club or other group.

THE PROGRAM

Friday 5 pm - 7pm: Come along to the KAN Shed with your design... or just an idea for a design. We will help you to finalise your design by looking at design elements and technical readiness for a good print. We will also be getting the screens coated and ready.

Saturday 9am - 12 noon: Finalise your designs and make sure they are print-ready. Having left he screens overnight to cure, we are now ready to expose the screens to the sun with your design on them.

Sunday 9am - 12 noon: Let's print!! Do you have your T-shirts or other items that you'd like to print on? You will print your design and walk away with a fantastic result.

WHATS INCLUDED

KAN supplies all tools, equipment and materials. Knowledgeable and helpful staff are always on hand. We will also have art support on hand to help you get the best out of your design. We'll have morning tea on the weekend.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING

Please bring whatever you would like to print onto: T shirts, teatowelss, cushion covers, pillow slips, tote bags, or a stretch of fabric.... up to you.
