I so so loved this workshop series! it was the warmest intro to winter and allowed me to gain lots of new skills within a beautiful and welcoming community space! Looking forward to future workshops!
Description
'Solasta' is invitation to gather, connect and create within the city of Glasgow and its natural spaces. Whether you are new to the city, or know it well, we hope to illuminate the cityscape in a new way, through various art forms and walking. The aim is to experience corners of the city through different artistic lenses, alongside creating new creative skills to bring forward into the winter months.
This year's workshops will include foraged cooking, storytelling, Gaelic zine-making, collagraph printing and pewter casting. All workshops will involve a creative activity and a reflective walk (TBA before each week). This series will culminate in an exhibition that showcases various expressions of lived city experiences.
