Short Film Screening For Nepal and Tibet

Following the devastating floods that struck the Nepal and Tibet regions this year, we invite you to come together in solidarity for the affected communities, provide support, celebrate their rich culture, and set the context for climate justice.

The event will be opened by Akanksha Thakur, Honours student and Sustainability Fellow, and Associate Professor Aidan Davison and will include two short Nepalese film screenings.

There will be an opportunity to engage with fundraising efforts hosted by the Nepalese community in Hobart and an informal dinner.

We hope you can join us for this evening of solidarity and fostering community support and resilience.
