Event description

Join us for a powerful evening of conversation and reflection with Rabbi Alissa Wise and Rebecca Vilkomerson, co-authors of the groundbreaking work Solidarity is the Political Version of Love: Lessons From Jewish Anti-Zionist Organizing.

Co-authors Rabbi Alissa Wise and Rebecca Vilkomerson are organizers, formerly with Jewish Voice for Peace, whose commitment to justice in Palestine extends back decades.

The event will also feature a welcome and land acknowledgement from special guest Chief Rueben George and a dynamic discussion with local activists, exploring the intersections of justice, activism, and solidarity in the fight for Palestinian liberation.

The evening's discussion will be moderated by Canadian filmmaker and journalist Avi Lewis.

Finally, the event will conclude with an interactive Q&A session to engage attendees in dialogue about the themes of the book and their relevance today.

Admission proceeds will go to We Are Not Numbers, a Palestinian-led non-profit organization sharing stories from the next generation of Palestinian writers and leaders. For more details, click here.
