Are you planning for the future as a solo ager who is single, divorced, or widowed? You are invited to an engaging two-session workshop designed to help cultivate your support system and create a practical action plan for aging and thriving in the years ahead.

Session 1: "Creating Your Circle of Support" May 13, 7-8:15pm
Discover how to build and maintain a strong support network while aging solo. Through interactive exercises and group discussions, you'll map your current connections and identify opportunities to strengthen your community. Learn practical strategies for staying connected and engaged as you age.

Session 2: "Planning for Your Future Self" May 20, 7-8:15pm
Take control of your future with concrete planning tools and resources. We'll cover essential topics including healthcare advocacy, legal considerations, and financial planning specific to solo agers. Leave with a practical roadmap for implementing key decisions and building the support system you need.

About the presenter
Marni Blank is the founder of Begin with the End. She is a recovering lawyer, mediator, death doula, and after loss consultant. Marni completed her death doula training through Going with Grace, mediation training through New York Peace Institute and Elder Decisions, grief training through Living Through Loss Counselling Society and After Loss Training through PALS.
Marni’s services are curated to empower individuals and families to prepare for logistical and emotional aspects of death, dying, and grief. This can include accountability in completing end-of-life decisions and documents, facilitating family conversations, getting your important documents and digital life organized, and legacy projects. For families in grief, she offers after loss support to help executors and families work through the paperwork and logistics to close the estate.
