Solstice Documentary Fundraiser - Kenilworth Safe Space
Event description
Thanks for you interest in our first Fundraiser!
The team behind establishing our Kenilworth Safe Space invite you to attend the screening of the challenging but hope-filled documentary SOLSTICE.
The documentary tells the story of how a family and local community respond to the devastating loss of young person to suicide. Far from being a story of despair, it shows how we can develop an increased sense of belonging within our community - and in fact, how crucial that is for all of us.
The screening will commence with a short update on the progress of the Safe Space, its location and what the intention is. We need the support of the whole community in order to create a sustainable and ongoing space, so, please come along to learn more about it.
We're actively recruiting volunteers to work in the space, but we will value any other ways you may be able to help resource this initiative.
Admission is by donation, but we're suggesting $20 per person.
(We'd prefer you to come if you're interested and can't afford to pay - so don't let the price put you off)
