Across six months, for seven Saturdays between Winter Solstice and Summer Solstice, a small group will gather to learn traditional craft techniques, create beautiful objects by hand, and move together through a deeply intentional creative journey.

Each gathering builds upon the last- technically, symbolically, and relationally -allowing participants to gradually develop both practical skill and a deeper connection to their own creative voice.

Throughout the series, participants will work with materials such as vegetable-tanned leather, sacred adornment, symbolic forms, hand-tooling techniques, and traditional making processes. Each session centres around the creation of meaningful objects designed to be both beautiful and enduring.

Alongside the making itself, the series includes shared ritual elements woven gently throughout the journey:

• Guided meditation

• Song

• Storytelling

• Reflection

• Guest offerings including practices such as drumming and sacred knowledge traditions.

The atmosphere of the space is intentional: Slow-paced, grounded, welcoming, and creatively nourishing.

This series is for people who feel drawn toward thoughtful making, symbolic craft, and the experience of creating with their hands in the company of other creative and open-hearted humans.

No prior experience is required. Only curiosity, care, and a willingness to participate fully in the journey.

Because each workshop forms part of a larger arc, participants are asked to commit to the full six-month series. Over time, the group itself becomes part of the container: A gathering of humans learning, creating, sharing meals, and growing alongside one another through the changing seasons.

Places are intentionally limited.

Participants will be contacted prior to the first gathering with preparation information and guidance to help them arrive ready for the journey ahead.

ABOUT TAMSIN

Tamsin is a designer, craftswoman, and facilitator whose work explores the meeting place between traditional handcraft, symbolic making, and the living intelligence of natural materials.

Originally trained in industrial design in both Melbourne and Scandinavia, her practice has evolved into a deeply hands-on approach centred around leatherwork, sacred adornment, geometry, ritual object-making, gemstone shaping, and slow craft processes. She also works with silver on a small scale, creating pieces that honour both material and meaning.

Before focusing fully on her current practice, Tamsin also worked as a lighting designer through her own small business — an experience that continues to inform her sensitivity to atmosphere, space, texture, and the emotional quality of environments.

Her work is known for its reverence for material, careful attention to form, and the creation of objects that feel both ancient and enduring. Rather than teaching craft as a purely technical exercise, Tamsin’s approach invites participants into a more connected and meaningful creative process: one that values presence, beauty, symbolism, patience, and the quiet satisfaction of making something real with one’s own hands.

Solstice to Solstice brings together many strands of her practice-design, ritual, storytelling, craftsmanship, creating beauty and community-into a shared six-month creative journey.

TERMS + CONDITIONS

Commitment to the Series

Solstice to Solstice is a six-month sequential program designed as a complete journey. Each workshop builds upon the previous gatherings, both practically and relationally.

By booking, participants are committing to the full series rather than individual sessions.

Payment Plans

If you would prefer to pay monthly we will invoice you through Humanitix. By selecting this payment plan, participants are agreeing to complete all scheduled instalments associated with their booking.

Deposits & Refunds

Due to the small group size, preparation involved, and materials purchased in advance, deposits are non-refundable.

Refund requests made more than 14 days before the series begins may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Refunds are generally not available once the series has commenced.

Missed Sessions

Because the workshops build progressively, participants are encouraged to attend all gatherings wherever possible.

Missed sessions are non-refundable and cannot always be repeated individually.

Where appropriate, notes or guidance may be provided to help participants continue with the series.

Respect for the Space

This offering is intended to be a respectful, supportive, and creatively nourishing environment for all participants.

Disruptive, harmful, or disrespectful behaviour may result in removal from the series without refund.

Changes

In the unlikely event that a session date must change due to illness, emergency, or unforeseen circumstances, participants will be notified as early as possible and replacement arrangements will be made.
